Notes for Kauai Resident Guests visiting the Club at Kukui`ula

Welcome to the Club at Kukui`ula.  We sincerely hope you enjoy your visit.  The following notes are intended to contribute to your enjoyment of the Club.  Mahalo for observing all Established Club Customs pertaining to the golf experience.


  • All vehicles arriving at the club are advised to valet at the motor court.
  • Kauai Residents playing golf are welcome to arrive at the Club one hour prior to their starting time.
  • Proper Golf Attire is required at all times on the golf course and at the practice facility.
  • For Men: Collared or mock neck shirts with sleeves. Golf shoes or approved athletic shoes. Denim of any kind is not permitted. Slippers, boots, bare feet, etc. are also not permitted.
  • For Ladies: Collared or mock neck sport shirts with or without sleeves is permitted. Players not complying with the dress code policy will be required to change clothes prior to play.
  • Outside Beverages and Private Coolers are not permitted at the Club. All desired beverages for the day should be purchased in the golf shop prior to play. . Two bottles of water will be provided on each cart.
  • Residents wishing to purchase merchandise in the golf shop are welcome to do so before or after their round.
  • The Club at Kukui`ula is a NON-TIPPING FACILITY. Please do not offer gratuities to any staff member.


  • The practice facility is open for Kauai Resident play 30 minutes prior to the player’s starting time. The practice facility will not be available following rounds of golf.
  • The use of practice balls at the practice facility is complimentary. Any players seen removing practice balls from the practice area may lose all playing privileges at the Club at Kukui`ula.
  • The practice green is reserved for putting and low running chip shots only. Please no pitching to the practice green.


  • Players should be prepared to play at their designated starting time. A starter will assist players in getting to the tee on time. Starting times are issued at ten minute intervals.
  • Please observe and abide by all customs pertaining to the operation of golf carts. Observe the 90 degree at all times.
  • Carts may not leave the cart path on all Par Three’s and the 14th hole.
  • When driving golf carts on the course, avoid driving through low lying areas, wet areas, newly sodded areas.
  • Avoid driving through Bahia Grass.
  • Please maintain a brisk pace of play. The target time for 18 holes at the Club at Kukui`ula is 4 hours and 15 minutes. Please follow any instructions offered by the Kukui`ula staff pertaining to your position on the golf course. A Player Assistant may be assigned to your group if it has been determined that group has fallen well off the target pace.
  • Players should not play more than one ball on the golf course. Practice on the course is prohibited.
